Tina and Bambi: the arrival of Tibetan goats at Sotto la Panca Sanctuary

The arrival of Tina and Bambi at the Sotto la Panca Sanctuary brought with it two new personalities, two new rhythms to learn, and, above all, a bond that was fundamental for us to respect: that between a mother and her daughter.

Tina and Bambi are two Tibetan goats, mother and daughter. They arrived together and together they will continue their lives at the Sanctuary.

The beginning of a new life for Tina and Bambi

Every new arrival at the Sanctuary requires time. First of all, one must observe: understand the animals' character, their habits, what reassures them, and what might cause discomfort.

With Tina and Bambi, we tried from the beginning to respect their pace.

Tina, the mother, is more cautious and observant. Bambi, on the other hand, is curious, lively, and capable of turning any moment into a small adventure.

They are different, but one only needs to observe them to understand the importance of their bond.

The first days in the new stable

The stable was their first point of reference: a quiet space where they could begin to recognize new smells, new sounds, and the people who would take care of them every day.

For an animal, changing environment doesn't simply mean being moved from one place to another. It means rebuilding a routine and gradually learning that the new space is safe.

For this reason, we were not in a hurry.

Day after day, Tina and Bambi began to relax, explore, and show more and more of their true character.

Introducing Bambi

If Tina is the attentive and thoughtful mother, Bambi is definitely the little explorer of the family.

A sanctuary means a lifelong home

For us, welcoming an animal means taking on a long-term responsibility.

Tina and Bambi will no longer have to change homes and will not be separated. Their lives will not depend on their usefulness to someone: they can simply be goats, with their preferences, their relationships, and their individual characters.

Our commitment is to take care of them for their entire lives.
