📟 Le donazioni sono detraibili fiscalmente

📟 Donations are tax deductible

We are deeply grateful for every donation received — and we know that many of you are also wondering if your contribution is tax deductible. Here's everything you need to know, whether you donate from Italy, the UK, or another country.

🇮🇹 Donors in Italy

Sotto la Panca is officially registered as an APS (Social Promotion Association) in Italy.

This means that donations made via bank transfer or other traceable methods may be deductible from your IRPEF (Personal Income Tax), according to current regulations.

To request a tax receipt, simply write to us at info@santuariosottolapanca.org stating:

  • the details of the donation
  • your tax code

We will send you a valid document to present in your income tax return.

We always recommend consulting your accountant or CAF (Tax Assistance Centre) to verify how to correctly apply the deductions in your specific case.

🌍 Donors outside Italy

Currently, donations made from outside Italy are not deductible, unless the donor resides in a country with bilateral agreements with Italy for the recognition of non-profit organizations (a rare and complex case).

🇬🇧 Donors from the United Kingdom: Gift Aid

A frequent question concerns Gift Aid, the British program that allows charities to recover part of the tax on donations.

Unfortunately, Sotto la Panca is not registered as a charity in the United Kingdom, and therefore cannot benefit from Gift Aid.

We operate exclusively as an Italian non-profit organization.

That being said, your donation still goes directly to feeding, caring for, and protecting rescued animals. And for that, we are infinitely grateful.

💡 We are working to expand options

We are evaluating collaborations with partner organizations to offer deduction possibilities in other countries as well.

🙏 Thank you for your support

Whether deductible or not, every donation has a direct impact on the lives of the animals hosted at the sanctuary.

You are part of this mission — and without you, nothing would be possible.
